Boudoir photos can be a great way to celebrate the skin you’re in. It’s a great way to feel confident and empowered. Or, you may choose a boudoir session to gift the photos to someone special. Beauty sessions can take place in a photo studio or in a home, like Laura’s session. Using a home setting adds a personal, intimate touch. It can also feel more comfortable because the surroundings are familiar and the “props” are real, unlike using a studio. Using your home also allows for a lot of different looks and settings in one brief photo session.
Using a real home setting for beauty (boudoir) photos also allows for some playful voyeuristic images that would be hard or not possible to capture in a studio setting.
In a single hour-long session, Laura was able to try many different “looks” with multiple wardrobe changes. The result is a big selection of photos to choose from.
