Cora Jane was born into this world a few months ago. Her parents wanted to have a special blessing ceremony for her. They picked the perfect spot—Lancaster Farm Sanctuary. They wanted to have a small, intimate ceremony with their closest family and friends that also combined the elements of nature and animals. This is because the family are huge animal advocates, and Cora’s mother, Kristen works for one of the nation’s largest animal protection organizations.

The blessing was an absolutely beautiful event. The couple’s family and friends each presented a flower and spoke of their hopes and dreams for Cora, Nick, and Kristen. The comments were all extremely heartfelt and touching. After all their guests spoke, a bouquet was quickly made from the flowers by Cora’s aunts and presented to the family.

The family added many personal touches in the ceremony including playing Rod Stewart’s Forever Young and Humane Society party favors. A plant-based lunch courtesy of Porch and Pantry was also served.
