What is Solo Portrait Photography?
Solo portrait photography centers on just one subject as the focus of the photograph. Solo portraits can be used for a multitude of purposes, from posed professional headshots, to candid moments, to images for creating a portfolio and more. The beauty of solo portrait photography is its versatility—one shoot might capture several different photos that can be used in different ways, from profile pictures to timeless keepsakes. I offer two convenient package tiers to accommodate your needs. Since 2016, I’ve been honored to work with a litany of great subjects and build my solo portrait photography portfolio and invite you to take a look.
Solo Portrait Versatility
Professional Headshots: A professional headshot is one of the best ways to put the right foot forward without a face-to-face meeting. Unprofessional or poorly-captured portraits can be detrimental to your business or the brand you’re attempting to build. With professionally-captured headshots, your first impression can convey the message you’d most like to get across.

I’ve been lucky to work with very talented artists since 2016, from musicians to models and more. For me, it’s exciting to work with other creatives and capture the genuine spirit and joy behind what they do so they can turn it into a portfolio or lookbook to be shared with businesses or potential customers.
I’ve captured headshots for several musicians, including a pianist and a violinist. I’m always excited to work with musicians, as it’s a chance for me to fuse two of my passions together: music and photography. Whatever instrument you play, I’m confident I can capture the authenticity of your passion and connection to it.
Photography has also led me to work with fashion designers, bloggers, and actors looking to build a portfolio. Lancaster offers diverse cityscapes and backdrops for dynamic photoshoots; in my experience, my clients and I have been able to capture “the perfect shot” while adventuring through historic streets, beloved spots, and rooftop views.

I have extensive experience with photographing animals, from cats and dogs to goats and cows. I’ve worked with rescue animal shelters and the variety of different animals living free there. Whether your pet has fur, feathers, or scales, I’m comfortable working with them and happy to include them in your solo portrait session.
