Best of CCSP: October 2021

My favorite highlight of this month is from a photoshoot I can’t share publicly yet. I had the pleasure and privilege of photographing pastel artist Isabel Lark in her beautiful home studio in downtown Lancaster, PA. I was there capture a photo of her latest art piece for Lancaster Theological Seminary’s annual Epiphany card. Above is a a little teaser detail shot from her studio.

Best of CCSP: September 2021

VegFest! I’ve attended every year since it’s start about 5 years ago, so it was awesome to be behind the camera this year. If you haven’t been to Lancaster VegFest make sure you check it out next time for some of the best food trucks you can try from all across the country, music, yoga, and vegan products!

Best of CCSP: August 2021

August was another great month full of photoshoots. This little man (Hugh) turned 5! To celebrate, his family had me take his annual birthday photos. This year we did the session at Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, PA. Hugh wore his Bluey tee shirt as it’s his favorite show right now.

Beach Daze

Beach Daze I got away to the beach. It was a great break. How could it not be? Every year my family takes a trip to Dewey Beach, and this year I went armed only with instant cameras. I decided to take a break from my big digital rig and go old school. I love […]

Best of CCSP: July 2021

July was a great month! I’m grateful for all the wonderful people who trusted me to capture their most important life moments. I’ve met a lot of great people along the way! Among the best moments from the month is this first kiss photo from Brittany and Sean’s wedding. I had a blast capturing their wedding for them and am glad to continue working with them after photographing their maternity session in January this year!

Best of CCSP: May 2021

ay was a busy with a lot of really great photoshoots! First of all was Carrie’s maternity session at Herr Park. Just a couple weeks later baby Lily was born!

Best of CCSP: April 2021

Among my favorite photos from April 2021 is this beautiful shot of Laura. Laura had just recently graduated with her Business Marketing degree and wanted new, professional headshots to match. We captured photos around Steinman Park, but this shot on top of the Vine Street garage was the best!

Remember This Level

After finishing a photoshoot, I returned to Prince Street Garage for my car. Upon reaching level 7 from the stairs, this view caught my eye. I love the vibrant yellow paint and the beautiful light that creates a natural vignette around the photo. To me, this shot is filled with emotion and stories, and I […]

Catalina

I always get excited when I see a vintage car. Even though I’m 90s kid, I have a lot of love for vintage cars and the nostalgic feeling they bring to many. This is likely in part to the fact that I grew up attending car shows with my dad. We also built tons of 1:24 scale plastic model cars together. And, I’d always help him work on the family cars… most likely poorly holding the flashlight while he did the real work. But, hey, I would lubricate the new oil filter with my pointer finger and a dab of fresh oil for him!) […]

Best Photos of the Year—Celebrating 2020

Celebrating the year 2020? Yes, you read that correctly. If you’re reading this in the future, you may not be aware of the pure, flaming-hot dumpster fire that were the 365 days of the year 2020. The year brought devastating brushfires and wildfires, record high temperatures, political and civil unrest (to put it lightly), the […]

Quarantined

It is a very strange time as we face a worldwide pandemic—COVID-19—my friends. I am fortunate and thankful to be healthy and have other streams of income during this time. I know there are many who are not able to say the same right now. I am wishing everyone good health and safety during these unusual times. To my fellow photography business owners—stay strong! This will pass eventually. I am going to keep posting during this time for the same reason I always have—to share my passion and love for photography with you. I hope my images will provide some entertainment and relief from the looming anxiety we’re all feeling.
