Bent Creek Country Club, Lititz, PA
Bent Creek Country Club welcomed summer with a Fete en Blanc party for its members.
According the tradition’s Wikipedia page, Fete en Blanc (or Dîner en Blanc) began in Paris in 1988 when François Pasquier invited a group of friends to an elegant outdoor dinner at the Bois de Boulogne, asking them to dress in white so they could find each other. The event’s presence has grown to over 85 cities, with almost 17,000 gathering for the 30th-anniversary event in Paris.
Unlike the common tradition of diners providing their own meals, tables, chairs, linens, etc. the guests of Bent Creek’s party were treated to a a fantastic meal, live music, Penny’s ice cream truck, and beautiful tables and place settings prepared for them. The event took place in the Clubhouse and on the greens under two tents.
After dinner, The Uptown Band got the party moving on the dancefloor and ended the night on a high note!
