A plant based event for all! On Saturday & Sunday, September 18th & 19th 2021, Lancaster VegFest held its 5th annual VegFest to celebrate the plant-based lifestyle! This free public event’s mission is to provide information about the benefits of a plant-based diet for health and the benefit to animals. In response to the pandemic, Lancaster VegFest took the form of a 2-day outdoor market instead of a full-blown festival. The market delivered amazing vendors & food, as well as free yoga sessions by West End Yoga Studio, music by DJ Shewülf, and art. Goodie bags were given to VIP ticket holders.

Lancaster VegFest brings together a huge array of vendors for the event. These diverse vendors come from all over the country, so this event is a great way to try food you wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to. The hardest part is deciding which to go for—I would have eaten everything if I could have!

Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative (LFFC) is a non-profit organic farmer’s cooperative of over 100 family farmers headquartered in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. They focus on creating healthy high quality foods from highly maintained and enriched soils on their small-scale family farms.
LFFC provides fresh, certified organic fruits, vegetables, and other farm fresh products through a subscription program also known as Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. The CSA is one of the best ways to maintain a whole foods plant based diet while also eating organic and local.
