Lancaster VegFest returned to Buchanan Park this year with its biggest event yet—and it did not disappoint! This beloved annual festival continues to grow in size and spirit, drawing thousands of plant-based enthusiasts, food lovers, families, and furry friends from all over the region.
The two-day celebration was packed with energy, flavor, and inspiration. Food trucks and artisan vendors from across the country set up throughout the park, offering everything from creative vegan comfort food to handcrafted goods and sustainable products. The smell of delicious plant-based cuisine filled the air, with lines forming for crowd favorites—tacos, burgers, smoothies, ice cream, and more.
New this year was the VegTalks Tent, a welcome addition that brought educational and engaging programming throughout the weekend. Attendees gathered to hear expert speakers discuss health, sustainability, and animal welfare, while live cooking demos showcased how easy (and tasty) plant-based meals can be at home.
Live music added to the lively atmosphere, providing the perfect soundtrack as guests strolled through the vendor area or relaxed in the grass. Kids had plenty to enjoy too, with a variety of activities and entertainment tailored just for them. And of course, the event remained proudly dog-friendly—Buchanan Park was full of happy pups soaking up the sunshine and attention.
More than just a festival, Lancaster VegFest is a thriving community event that brings people together around shared values of health, compassion, and sustainability. Each year, the turnout grows, and so does the impact.
