Laura and I met at Hingework (one of my favorite places to shoot) for some portraits. The beauty of Hingework is the range of photo ‘backdrops’ it offers—each with a different, unique feel. On one side, there is the clean, open space of the studio with white brick walls, cool gray floor, and bountiful natural light. On the other side is the rich, warm lounge area filled with awesome, antique furniture, tropical plants, and remnants of the building’s past as a cigar box factory on the walls.
