






































198th Fall Convocation
Lancaster Theological Seminary, Lancaster, PA
Lancaster Theological Seminary held its Convocation in there historic Santee Chapel on August 26. New students, current students, staff, and community members gathered in prayer and song for the ceremonial opening of their 198th Academic Year. Additionally, the celebration was livestreamed on YouTube for those who could not attend in person. A festive reception followed Convocation in the Dietz Refectory with refreshments from the PepperTheo Cafe.
























































The Rt. Rev. Dr. Nathan D. Baxter (MDiv 1976, DMin 1984), delivered the convocation address titled Being Doers of the Word: Identity, Institution and Integrity in Ministry.



Dr. Baxter was honored with great praise from his peers and students on the occasion of his retirement as senior adjunct professor in June prior to the Convocation.



Dr. Julia M. O’Brien, the Paul H. and Grace L. Stern Chair in Old Testament Studies, Professor of Hebrew Bible/Old Testament, and Director of the Master of Arts in Ministry & Leadership program, was also honored for here 25 years of service on the LTS faculty.
