Alumni Day, 2024
Lancaster Theological Seminary/Eden Resort & Suites, Lancaster, PA
Over 100 Lancaster Theological Seminary alumni, faculty, staff, and members of the graduating class joined together on campus and for the 2024 Alumni Day gathering. The day kicked off with coffee and conversations in Mayer Commons before a morning worship in the historic Santee Chapel.
The morning service was followed by a celebratory lunch. The luncheon program included an invocation from an alumni member and a keynote address from beloved faculty member Rev. Dr. Baber. Multiple awards were presented, including Meck Awards to Reverend Zemencik, Class of ’87, and Reverend Doctor Lindon, Class of ’10, and a Moss Award to Reverend Doctor Nelson, Class of ’03 and ’19. Reverend Nelson was also presented with an award in recognition of faithful service to the seminary.
Following a State of the Seminary address from Interim VP and Dean, The Very Reverend Doctor Ragsdale, the seminary recognized two retiring faculty members through warm, heartfelt remarks from Dr. Barret. An official portrait for each member was unveiled and will hang in the Lark Building on the LTS Campus.
