Maria get in touch with me after receiving the devastating news that her furry companion Posada had been diagnosed with Lymphoma. Maria sprung into action seeking pet portraits to honor Posada’s important place in her life and to keep her memory alive. I was honored to meet them both and capture these moments. The love between Posada and Maria was very clear. They’ve spent more than a decade together starting when Posada was just a puppy.

Posada is in the early stages of her journey. She was happy, healthy, and energetic when I met her. After our photoshoot, Maria has continued to give loving care to Posada as her illness develops. Posada may be part of a clinical trial lymphoma treatment with hopes to prolong her life comfortably. I wish Posada and Maria the best during this challenging time.
