The Gausmann Family
The Garden of Five Senses, Lancaster, PA
After receiving a terminal diagnosis for their beloved, 14-year-old dog, Addie, the Gausmann family reached out to me. They wanted to capture family portraits with Addie in her honor and to cherish her memory. Despite the sad circumstances, the family gathered for what was a fun and good spirited photoshoot as they lovingly celebrated Addie’s important place in their family.
The family booked a one-hour session so we took our time and were sure to capture a large variety of photos with the couple, the kids, and of course Addie. This time also allowed for a relaxed photoshoot and opportunities for Addie to take rests.
Sadly, Addie passed away in the days following the photoshoot, but her memory will not be forgotten by the Gausmann family.
