The Wiser-Skinner Family

The Skinner- Wiser Family [2025]
Hersheypark Arena, Hershey, PA

The Wiser-Skinner family’s session was all about telling their story—and there was no better place to do that than the Hersheypark Arena. Hockey isn’t just a sport for this family; it’s a major part of their everyday life, their schedule, and their shared memories. Choosing the arena as their photo location made the session feel personal, intentional, and completely true to who they are.

Both sons are dedicated ice hockey players, so we began the session in the locker room, capturing the behind-the-scenes moments that are so familiar to them. Fully suited up in their gear, the boys laced their skates, adjusted pads, and leaned into the routines that come before stepping onto the ice. These images highlight not only their love of the game, but also the discipline and focus that hockey demands.

From there, we headed out onto the ice, where the arena really came to life. Photographing the boys on the rink allowed them to move confidently in their element, resulting in images that feel energetic, powerful, and authentic. The scale of the arena and the quiet intensity of the ice created a dramatic backdrop that perfectly matched their passion for the sport.

We also made time for family portraits, bringing everyone together both on and off the ice. These images balance the action with connection—parents standing proudly alongside their sons, surrounded by the place that has hosted so many early mornings, practices, and games.

Sessions like this are a reminder that family photos don’t have to happen in a field or a park. When you choose a location that truly reflects your family’s story, the images become more than portraits—they become memories frozen in time. The Wiser-Skinner family’s love for hockey shines through every frame, and it was an honor to capture it at the Hersheypark Arena.
