Heather & David’s Wedding
The Glasbern Inn, Fogelsville, PA

Heather and David had a warm July wedding at the stunning Glasbern Inn in Folgelsville, PA. Once a working farm, Glasbern now boasts romantic hotel rooms, capturing the ideal blend of historic charm, luxury lodging, and fresh culinary offerings from our sustainable partners and farmers. A picturesque pond, 150 acres of rolling hills, restored cottages, and converted barns set the tone for a beautiful wedding or a relaxing getaway.

The wedding was an intimate occasion with about 30 of the couple’s closest family and friends, including Heather’s parents and son, as well as David’s sons and brother and sister-in-law who travelled all the way from Australia (David’s home country). It was an honor to be part of their special day with their loving family and friends to support them.

Heather and David had a brief and relaxed ceremony in Glasbern’s new outdoor pavilion. The site sits atop a beautiful garden and the altar overlooks the grounds, including the picturesque Glasloft building and large pond. Before the bride’s arrival, David mingled with the guests who were thrilled for the pair and in great spirits. The couple was married by Heather’s dear and long-time friends. The couple shared heartfelt vows they wrote to each other while David’s brother recorded the ceremony for their father in Australia to watch.

The ceremony was followed by portraits of the bride and groom with their loved ones. These photos were taken outside on the Glasloft patio which overlooked a beautiful pond.

Guests gather in the Glasloft for the reception to celebrate the just-married couple. Drinks were enjoyed in the pub before dinner which was kicked of with words of thanks and a toast from Heather and David.
