Wrapped – Best photos of 2022

Thank you to all of my awesome clients who helped make 2022 a great year for Chris Corrao: Stories & Portraits! At the end of each year, I like to take a look back at my favorite photos. Enjoy s look at 2022 Wrapped!

If you like what you see and want to book your own photo session, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can contact me using the contact form.

I had the pleasure of working with a lot of families this year—some for the first time and others for the second, third, or more! I love all of the tender moments captured above.

All families are welcome and families of any size. To learn more about Family Portrait Sessions here.

Often kids can be the best part of family portrait sessions. They are honest and uninhibited. I love these moments above. They were all natural, uncoached moments—brothers goofing around and showing love to each other, climbing trees, and ‘Superwoman’ woman poses.

Little kids always steal the spotlight! Giada turned 2. Chessie had her first birthday. Lily turned 1 and enjoyed all the seasons of the year. And, Patrick got his first set of modeling headshots.

Pets are always welcome to join your photo shoot. Many families like to include their dog in their Family Portrait Session. I also offer dedicated Pet Portrait Sessions for photos of just your pet(s) alone. Above, Benzy proudly watches over his family, Andrea and Dave hold their beloved cat Georgi (named for the Star Trek character), and a beautiful pup enjoys Lancaster VegFest.

Couple Portraits are great way to celebrate any special occasion or simply to celebrate love! Thank you to the couples that trusted me to make special memories for them.

Solo Portraits are great for capturing professional headshots, senior portraits, or for fun. The above photos are among the highlights of the year. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with many great people and created a lot of fantastic images, including the first image above for the cover of Masonic Village Hospice’s Reflections publication.

During 2022, I photographed several events for Lancaster Theological Seminary. These events were always joyous and spirits were always high. That is how I captured so many genuine moments of honest emotion. Additionally, I photographed Lancaster-based pastel artist Isabel Lark in her home studio as she completed a custom piece of artwork for LTS’s Epiphany card. Finally, my favorite images captured for LTS in 2022 is the above portrait of Dr. Heather Vacek in front of Santee Chapel.

For the second year in a row, I had the opportunity to photograph Lancaster VegFest. As a vegan and animal advocate, this is one of my favorite local Lancaster events every year. Each year is bigger and better than the last! I met so many warm, wonderful people during the two days which helped me create some great portraits. Of course, I also ate a lot of great food!

Barry’s Car Barn is like a candy store for classic car enthusiasts! This museum is made up of one man’s personal collection of antique autos and memorabilia. Even if you think cars are not your thing a visit to the Barn will delight you. I loved capturing photos of the museum space and all the great design details of the cars.

Another fun shoot I had the pleasure of doing in 2022 was a set of promotional portraits for the Lancaster-based band Strange Brew. The photos were taken on the eve of the release of their latest album titled Fly! Check them out!
