Big Boy Brass/Pequea Valley HS Jazz Band
Pequea Valley High School, Kinzers, PA
Big Boy Brass of Lancaster, PA held a special jazz clinic for the students of Pequea Valley High School Jazz Band January 23, 2020. They worked with instrument sections of the band throughout the school—giving lessons on improvisation and teaching them one of their original songs titled Raw Meat.
The day ended with a special concert experience in the evening for students, parents, and the public. Both the PVHS Jazz Band and Big Boy Brass performed. They ended the night with a combined band performance of Raw Meat to showcase the improv skills that students practiced during the school day.
It was an honor to be in attendance and capture the evening!
