Bringing colleagues together outside of the workplace creates opportunities that simply can’t be replicated over video calls or emails. This Donnelley Financial Solutions team event was designed to do just that—give employees a chance to connect, unwind, and enjoy one another’s company in a relaxed, fun atmosphere.
The event was filled with conversation and laughter as coworkers stepped away from their day-to-day responsibilities to spend time together. Whether reconnecting with teammates they hadn’t seen in person for months or meeting colleagues for the first time, the gathering reinforced the value of building relationships beyond the office.
From a photography perspective, events like these are all about authenticity. Rather than directing or staging moments, I focused on capturing genuine interactions as they naturally unfolded—shared laughs, animated conversations, group celebrations, and the small candid moments that often become the most meaningful memories. These photographs tell the story of the event while showcasing the people and culture that make the organization unique.
