LTS Alumni Day 2026

Alumni Day 2026
Lancaster Theological Seminary & The Eden Resort, Lancaster, PA

On May 8, 2026, alumni, faculty, students, and friends gathered for a meaningful day of worship, fellowship, and celebration during Alumni Day at Lancaster Theological Seminary. The event brought together generations of seminary graduates to reconnect, reflect, and celebrate the Seminary’s continuing mission of service and leadership.

The morning began in Mayer Commons where guests enjoyed coffee, conversation, and the opportunity to reconnect with classmates and colleagues. Warm greetings, shared memories, and laughter filled the room as alumni from many different class years gathered together once again.

Following the morning reception, attendees moved to Santee Chapel for a worship service centered on community, faith, and service. Alumni Rev. Dr. Linwood Smith Jr. delivered a powerful sermon that resonated deeply with those in attendance. The service also featured music, fellowship, and moments of reflection that highlighted the Seminary’s longstanding commitment to spiritual formation and leadership.

The afternoon luncheon took place at Eden Resort & Suites, where the celebration continued with a full program honoring the Seminary community and its achievements. One of the highlights was an alumni panel discussion focused on serving local communities, offering thoughtful insight and personal experiences from graduates actively making a difference through ministry and leadership.

Guests also heard the State of the Seminary Address from Vice President and Dean Dr. Christian Rice, who shared updates and reflections on the Seminary’s future and ongoing mission. The program included the presentation of the Meck and Moss Awards, remarks from the Seminary Community Council President, and special recognition of reunion classes and the graduating class.

Throughout the day, the event reflected the deep sense of connection and purpose that continues to unite the Seminary community. From heartfelt conversations and inspiring worship to moments of recognition and celebration, Alumni Day served as both a reunion and a reminder of the lasting impact of faith, education, and service.

These photographs capture many of the meaningful moments that made the day so memorable.
